Lowmark ("the App") is a Shopify application that watches a store's inventory levels and emails low-stock alerts to the store that installs it ("the Merchant"). This policy describes what data the App processes and why.
Data the App stores
- Alert email address — the address the Merchant chooses for low-stock alerts (or, if none is set, the email address on file for the store in Shopify).
- Store configuration — the Merchant's low-stock threshold and alert preferences.
- Inventory state — the available quantity of the store's product variants and product/variant titles, used to detect when stock reaches the Merchant's threshold.
- Alert logs — for each alert: the product and variant, the quantity that triggered it, the recipient address, the time, the delivery status, and the sending provider's reference or error message.
- Usage counters — monthly counts of alert emails sent and inventory events processed, used to apply the fair-use limits described in the Terms of Service.
The App does not collect shopper data. Alerts are operational emails sent to the Merchant's own address; the App does not store customer names, customer email addresses, orders, or payment details.
How data is used
Data is used only to operate the alerting service: watching inventory levels, deciding when an alert should fire, sending alert emails, keeping the alert log the Merchant can review, and enforcing the plan's fair-use limits.
Service providers
The App runs on Cloudflare (hosting and database). Alert email is delivered through Resend from the App's verified sending domain. No data is sold or shared for advertising.
Data requests and deletion
The App honours Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customer data request, customer redact, shop redact). When a Merchant uninstalls the App, the store's data is deleted in accordance with the shop-redact process. Merchants may also contact us at northdeskline@gmail.com with any privacy request.
