Terms of Service

The service

Lowmark is a Shopify application that monitors the available inventory of a store's product variants. When a variant's available quantity drops to the threshold the Merchant sets, the App sends a low-stock alert email to the Merchant's chosen address and records the alert in an in-app log. One alert is sent per product per low spell; alerting for a product re-arms automatically when its stock rises above the threshold again.

Acceptable use

Billing

The App is billed through Shopify's billing system at $9.99 USD per month, with a 14-day free trial, as shown on the App Store listing and the in-app plan screen. The price is flat: there are no per-product or per-SKU charges and no cap on the number of SKUs monitored. Charges begin only after the Merchant approves them in Shopify.

Fair-use limits

The monthly price includes, per shop per calendar month:

For context, a typical shop sends fewer than 100 alert emails a month and generates a few thousand to tens of thousands of inventory events. The limits exist so that a single store with unusual traffic cannot degrade the service for other stores or make the flat price unsustainable.

If a shop reaches either limit, processing of that kind pauses until the 1st of the following month. A pause is never silent: it is shown on the App's dashboard and recorded in the alert log.

Extra packs

A shop that reaches a fair-use limit can buy extra packs for the current month, inside the App, at $5.00 USD per pack:

At most 5 packs of each kind may be bought per shop per month (a maximum of +$25/month for alert packs and +$25/month for event packs). Packs apply only to the calendar month in which they are bought, do not roll over, and are billed through Shopify's usage billing after the Merchant approves the charge in the App.

If you reach a limit: review your setup first

Reaching a fair-use limit is uncommon, and when it happens it is usually a symptom rather than the problem itself. Before buying extra packs, we recommend reviewing your setup: a threshold set extremely low can make alerts fire constantly, a very large catalog of near-empty SKUs can do the same, and an inventory-sync integration that rewrites stock levels far more often than necessary can generate enormous event volume. Fixing the cause often brings usage back to normal on its own. Extra packs are there so that a genuinely busy month never leaves you without alerts while you decide.

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep inventory monitoring and alert sending reliable and to make every failure visible in the alert log, but we do not guarantee that any individual email will be delivered or read. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amounts paid for the App in the preceding three months.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the App. Contact: northdeskline@gmail.com
