Lowmark

Low-stock alerts for Shopify — know before you run out.

What it does

Lowmark keeps an eye on the available stock of every variant in your store. The moment a product drops to your low-stock mark, it emails you — while there is still time to reorder, remake, or restock. Every alert is written to a log inside the app, so you can see exactly what was sent, when, and whether it landed. Nothing fails quietly.

How it works

  1. Set your mark. Pick the number of units that means "running low" for your store (the default is 5) and confirm the email address alerts should go to. That is the whole setup.
  2. Lowmark watches in the background. Every inventory change in your store is checked against your mark automatically — no spreadsheets to maintain, no reports to remember to run.
  3. You get one clear email per low spell. The alert names the product, the variant, and how many are left, with a link straight to the product in your Shopify admin. When stock rises above the mark again, the alert re-arms itself, so the next dip notifies you again.

Pricing

$9.99/month flat, with a 14-day free trial. One price covers your whole catalog: there are no per-product or per-SKU charges, and no cap on how many SKUs Lowmark watches.

Generous fair-use limits are included in that price: 2,000 alert emails and 1,000,000 inventory events per shop per month. A typical shop sends fewer than 100 alerts a month, so most stores never come near these numbers — they exist only to keep one runaway store from degrading the service for everyone else.

If you do reach a limit in a busy month, extra packs are available in the app for $5 each: a pack adds either 2,000 alert emails or 500,000 inventory events for the current month. You can buy up to 5 packs of each kind per month (at most +$25/month per kind), billed through Shopify. Full details are in the Terms of Service.

Questions

Do I need my own email tool or account?

No. Alerts are sent by Lowmark from its own verified sending domain. There is nothing to connect, no API key to paste, and no sending quota of yours being used.

Will I get spammed when a product hovers at the threshold?

No. Lowmark sends one alert per product per "low spell". It only alerts again after the stock first rises back above your mark and then drops to it once more.

Which stock number does Lowmark watch?

The available quantity of each variant — the number your customers can actually buy — checked on every inventory change Shopify reports.

Can alerts go to someone else, like my warehouse or a business partner?

Yes. The alert address is a setting in the app; use any inbox you like, or leave it blank to use the email address on file with Shopify.

What happens if I hit a fair-use limit?

Alerting pauses until the 1st of the next month, and the pause is shown on the dashboard and recorded in the alert log — never silently. In most cases the underlying cause is a setup worth reviewing (a mark set extremely low, or an inventory sync updating stock far more often than needed), but extra packs are there so a busy month never leaves you stuck.
